This was a quick stop as I was just riding by with my cousin. The outside of the building is bland, but the magic is inside. Remember don’t judge a book by its cover. The place was so cool on a hot morning and the vibe was authentic, reminding me of the places back home in the RGV. The menudo was my selection and it didn’t disappoint. You can tell a lot by just the smell of your menudo. The service was also excellent and the ladies were constantly checking on us. I would love to be a regular at this place. Stop in and enjoy. You will not be disappointed
A visitor here, and have enjoyed the dining this week. Such a great little gem! Noticed that a ton of drive-thru and to-go business is done, but if you get a chance sit down and appreciate this place! Wide variety of options, but everything I had was amazing! Servers were young ladies, and very attentive—they both checked on me multiple times! Shrimp cocktail was really, really good!
Nasty food to be honest. Waste of $40. Waiter and staff were very friendly but food was dry, blan, flavorless. Horrible.
Autenthic Mexican flavors..! AAA+++
The rice and beans were so good but my enchiladas were super dry and the corn tortillas didn't seem cooked. I think I probably ordered wrong so I'd probably go for something else on the menu next time. It did make a pretty picture though! 😉
If passing thru Rosebud on hwy 77, you might miss this little gem of a place. Very small, hole in the wall kind of place, but WOW, what great food. You should put this place on your stop if passing thru. I got a breakfast burrito that makes the Whataburger taquitos like toothpicks!
A nice small town maxican cafe. Reasonably priced and a quality meal. I've been eating here off and on when passing through for years. I love the cactus and scrambled eggs. The chorizo and eggs are great. everything I've tried has been good.
This little place has a dirt drive through and 4 (maybe 5) tables, but dont let that prevent you from stopping by for one of their absolutely fantastic specials! Without a doubt, this little gem in the country has the best Mexican food you will find and the best I've had since moving from San Antonio. The salsa is fresh, the mini street tacos were the bomb, and the charro's had me dancing like Charo from The Love Boat!! Superb! Keep up the good food, Chez Comalitis!
